I am currently in my 27th year as a teacher at Hillsboro Elementary. I have taught
fourth grade
during my entire career with the exception of student teaching third grade
at Robert E. Lee.  This year, I will teach Science and Studies.

I played basketball  throughout school and into college.  I have coached various teams
through the years including the Hillsboro Lady Tigers.  I now enjoy sitting back and watching my kids play.
I have been married to Charles Harryman for 26 years.  We have two great kids,
Dusty(21) and Maddie(16).
My parents, John and Louise Gilmer, have spent their lives growing up and raising their family in Hillsboro.  I am the youngest of five children who all attended HES.
I left here in 1982 as a student and returned in 1992 as a teacher.
